Proxemic Imaging

Proxemic imaging is a method for analyzing motion capture data from a social interaction between two individuals. The method creates heat maps of social space, as defined by interpersonal distance and the gaze directions of each individual. These heat maps compress the physical content of a social interaction into interpretable images.
