I am a researcher and lecturer at the University of York, UK. The goal of my research is to describe how thoughts, feelings, and behaviour unfold in the midst of emotionally loaded experiences. I am particularly interested in how to optimise performance when faced with threatening and unpredictable situations. I use virtual reality, games, and real-world sampling to conduct this work.
